Care
Selvedge Denim
- The way you wear and wash your denim affects the type of fades you get. Some standard rules we recommend is hand washing and hang drying.
- Our preference is to hand wash frequently (not too often) and hang dry to get smooth fades.
- If you want to keep a darker color and higher contrast, wash rarely and make sure to hand wash to preserve color and fit.
- Always hang dry to maintain shape and fabric integrity. Avoid tumble drying.
- Over time, your denim will develop a unique patina that reflects how you wear it.
Full-Grain Leather
- Use a leather conditioner frequently to keep the leather supple.
- Clean with a soft, damp cloth—never soak.
- Small marks and variations are natural and add to the leather’s character over time.
Alpaca Fur
- Avoid moisture — alpaca fur is sensitive to water. If it gets slightly damp, let it air dry naturally at room temperature.
- Do not machine wash or dry clean. Spot clean gently with a dry cloth or use a soft brush to revive fluff and remove dust.
- To freshen, shake gently or hang in fresh air (away from direct sunlight).
- If the fur becomes matted, lightly fluff it with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb—never use heat tools.
- For deep cleaning or restoration, consult a specialist in fur care.
